ACTION: Tell Rick Scott to Take the Money!

Dear Governor Scott,

Are you out of your mind?

What makes you think that the rejection of federal funds (read: free money) to create jobs and a high-speed rail link in our state is a bad idea?

I don’t know if you realize it, but, we’re in a recession. We need these jobs and this investment in infrastructure. Infrastructure leads to private sector investment, which creates jobs.

Your decision makes no sense and hurts our state.

I am deeply disappointed, and I hope you’ll reconsider.

Thank you, and please, start putting Florida first.
